Dimensional Capability
As abrasion resistant steel, Valast® 450 enables the production of lighter, more fuel-efficient vehicles or increased payloads through the reduction of steel thickness. To achieve this, Valast® grades are manufactured to exacting standards to ensure consistent flatness and tight dimensional tolerances. Due to its low CEV (less than 0.45) Valast® 450 is suitable for all welding methods.
With a max width of 81” Valast® 450 offers the widest AR steel from coil in the market. Thicknesses below 0.118″ are under development.
For coil orders below 60″ wide, a minimum order quantity may apply.
