Pressure Vessel Quality
Pressure vessel and boiler grade steels are fully-killed (deoxidized), fine-grained carbon-manganese steels produced by hot rolling and normalizing. Boiler and pressure vessel grades are made of fine grain steel, with high impact resistance. Factors considered when designing boilers and pressure vessels include the size and weight of the vessel and its contents, internal and external forces, ambient and operational temperatures, stress, corrosion, etc.
Key Features
