Whether you're a job fabricator, stamper or manufacturer, Steel Warehouse is your expert rectangular blanking source.
Cold reducing is the process of reducing thickness of hot roll pickled strip to lower target gauge points.
Corrective Roller Leveling
A shape correction process using a series of offset top and bottom rolls to engage and permanently deform the strip.
A high temperature hydrochloric acid bath used to remove iron oxide (black scale) from steel.
A processing technique used to cut coil sheet into narrower widths.
Temper Passing / Cut to Length
Temper Passing is performed to improve flatness, minimize the tendency to stretch, strain, and flute. It will also ensure your steel obtains your desired surface texture and mechanical properties.
Temper Passing/Gauge Correcting
Temper passing temporarily minimizes the tendency of low carbon non-IF steel to flute or create a surface condition called a “coil break” during bending.
We can bevel the edge for your special applications.
A time and temperature controlled thermomechanical process used predominantly to make steel soft again after cold reduction.
A shape correction process relying on high tension grips to stretch steel sheet passed its yield point.
Quench and Temper
This process heats hot roll pickled or cold roll steel up to iron’s highest temperature phase (austenite) and rapidly quenches or cools to iron’s most unstable phase (martensite)
